Flaky, cheesy, and just a little spicy, these Jalapeño Popper Puff Pastry Twists are filled with whipped cream cheese, sharp cheddar, and fresh jalapeño. They’re an easy party appetizer that combines all the flavors of a jalapeño popper with crispy, buttery puff pastry.

Ingredients
  • 2 sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 container whipped cream cheese (8 oz)
  • 1 jalapeño, finely diced
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tbsp water, for egg wash

    Preheat the oven to 400°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Unfold one sheet of thawed puff pastry on a clean work surface.

    Spread the whipped cream cheese evenly over the puff pastry.

    Sprinkle the diced jalapeño and shredded sharp cheddar evenly over the cream cheese.

    Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top and gently press the layers together.

    Cut the pastry into approximately 12 strips.

    Hold each strip at both ends and gently twist several times. Arrange the twists on the prepared baking sheet, leaving a little space between each one.
